This the doggy my mommy saved on the freeway today on her way to work this morning. He was running around on the median area that is all gravely and cars were whizzing past him. Mommy said that he looked very sad and scared, so she decided to stop and see if he would get into the car.
After a little bit of coaxing and a few of mommy's pepperoni slices that daddy snuck into her lunch pail (good thing he did that!) he came over close enough to be picked up and put into the car! Mommy called daddy and they went to several different vet's offices and finally aunt Colleen who is a doggy doctor, talked her into going to her office and letting them get him to a place to find a home. He does not have a chip in him so no one knows who or where he came from.
There are some people that may be interested in giving him a safe home. Our home is really full and we don't know how he will be with our kitty cat, so we are going to see if he can find a different new home all of his own before we make any decisions.
